Padding replacement

When catches start to sting, your padding is worn. We replace palm pads, heel pads, finger stalls, and thumb loops to restore comfort and protection.

Signs your padding needs replacing

Glove padding compresses over time. What started as a cushioned pocket becomes a flat surface that transfers impact straight to your hand. If you feel the ball stinging on routine catches, the padding has likely broken down.

You might also notice the pocket feels shallower than it used to, or you can feel the ball through the palm on hard throws. These are all signs the internal padding needs attention.

Palm Pad Replacement

From $18

The most common padding repair. Replaces the worn pad in the catching area of the pocket.

Heel Pad Replacement

From $18

Restores cushioning at the base of the glove where the heel of your hand sits.

Thumb Loop Replacement

From $18

Worn or broken thumb loops affect grip and control. A quick fix that makes a big difference.

Finger Stall Repair

From $18

Repair or replace worn finger stalls for better finger protection and glove fit.

Padding replacement pairs well with a full relace. If you are already having the glove relaced, adding padding work at the same time saves on turnaround. Catchers especially benefit from fresh padding - check out our catchers mitt repair page for position-specific details.

Stop feeling every catch

Fresh padding restores the comfort and protection your glove had when it was new.
