Partial Repair
From $18Targeted lacing repair for specific areas - fingers, heel, palm, thumb loop. We fix what needs fixing without touching what does not.
What goes into a professional relace
A proper relace is more than just threading new lace through old holes. We start by completely stripping the old lacing, then clean and condition the leather before any new lace goes in. This ensures the leather is healthy and the new lacing sits correctly.
We use premium rawhide lace - not the cheap stuff that stretches and breaks after one season. Each lace is pulled to the correct tension for the specific area of the glove. Too tight in the web and you lose snap. Too loose in the fingers and you lose control. It matters.
After lacing, we condition the entire glove and shape the pocket. Your glove ships back ready to play - just a few days of catch to break in the new lace.

Brand-specific expertise
Different brands use different leathers, web patterns, and construction methods. We know the differences and adjust our approach accordingly.
Relacing FAQ
- Will relacing change my pocket?
- New lacing is stiffer than broken-in lace, so the pocket will need some break-in time. However, we lace to your glove shape and web pattern, so the overall feel returns quickly - usually within a few days of catch.
- Can I choose my lace color?
- Yes. We stock rawhide lace in black, tan, brown, and white. Other colors are available on request. Let us know your preference when you submit your quote.
- How long does a full relace take?
- Most full relaces are completed within 3-5 business days of receiving your glove. Partial repairs are often done in 1-2 days.
- Should I get a full relace or partial repair?
- If more than one section of lacing is worn, a full relace is usually the better value. Send us photos and we will give you an honest recommendation.
